B.O.D meeting
Today morning woke up earlier than usual, coz got the LEP immersion 体检 at Outram. And i was meeting Jaime at 7:40am. It was weird, taking MRT in the opposite direction of TJC from BEDOK Interchange. This MJC girl was like staring at me while i got into the MRT. hahaha... she muz be thinking... "Isn she from TJ? Isn this Bedok?" In the end, got there 10+min earlier, and saw Zi Xin and Wen Jie there. So we chatted for a while before Jaime, who got lost from the NEL to the EWL found her way to us.
The body checkup was quite fast. And nothing much too... so early, there were so few patients lor. So the whole thing was like super fast. Ended so early, even though we tried to drag on. Then we decided to go to ChinaTown to eat 花生糊 and 杏仁糊 etc... from this shophouse opp Macs. We sat at macs for sometime before that shop opened, and the desserts were really very nice! I ate gui1 lin2 gao1. It was nice lor. Mmmm... Haha. But cuz we were all in sch U. (except a certain extra someone) and eating so leisurely at CHINATOWN, we look like we specially 旷课 to eat at that shophouse. hahaha... Then after a long debate at the platform of NEL - ChinaTown, we dragged ourselves back to school. I wanted to go back for Civics, cuz with M.G, its rather be safe than sorry. And when i found out HuiMin was in sch, i wanted to go and see her. So long nv see her, miss her so much, and so much to tell her and she also had alot to tell me. Back at college, i went to LEP room and spent 1 whole period listening to JingFu talk abt his sec sch-VS 趣事. Some were super funny, and me and Chun Hsien were like laughing our heads off, we both almost fell off our seats. Actually the thing itself isn funny, its the way JingFu related it to us. hahaha. he's a born comedian. i sat with HuiMin in canteen while she had lunch after her maths tutorial. Than we had like so much to talk about! And Hui Min told me abt College events these few days etc. Than got back to LEP room and sat there and talked with whoever was there till bell ring. Saw some seniors like Si Xiong, Wan Yi and Andrew in college, in LEP room wif us. But in general, college's like so empty! Even worse than when the seniors had study break! Hui Min said that the LEP cohort only 24... we have like 50+ pple lor! Than our class only 10 in the morning... meaning 15 nv come! Haha... this week everybody stay at home and have their OWN study leave. Than, as i was saying, the bell rang and i felt pretty reluctant to go for B.O.D meeting, although it was like the only thing apart from civics which i came back to college for la. Then i waited for Andrew, Si Xiong and Wan Yi to leave LEP room for sometime... than i dragged myself out of LEP room. Haha... still met them at the stairs, cuz they walk too slowly. anywayz, i went for B.O.D meeting, there was nobody there. Finally saw Yen Mei who nv come sch today and only come back to college for b.o.d meeting, so she trying to avoid her CT. haha. Peng Juay appeared, and the three of us just sat there and stone. Jing Fen came round, and Yen Mei asked her to join our meeting. haha. Finally, Kee Liang like rushed over and sat down with us and started calling Cai Lin, Pei Shan etc... while i told him "Arthur Civics, Cai Lin Civics.... Michelle Civics...Eunice went home..." But he insisted that the meeting cannot start without Cai lin and Pei Shan. Then while waiting, he sat down with his B.O.D meeting log and started the meeting. "We have this very important LEO event la. But it is during our study leave. So we have decided to push the event forward..." I was only half listening la. Than Ernnie came and told me CIVICS CANCELLED!! ARGH. means i only came back for B.O.D meeting???? Geez. Tahn i turned back Kee Liang was still trying to contact Cai Lin la. So i said "nvm la. Let's have the meeting first lor." (Cuz HuiMin waiting for me to go home.) Kee liang said, "Cannot." "Why?" "Cuz Cai Lin is holding on to your present." "What?" "Yah. Oh. Ooops. haha, anyway that impt LEO event is your bdae." "Oh" *Stunned* Yen Mei then told Kee Liang, "No, the present wif me la." Haha...i was still stunned when i saw Pei Shan running to us with a cake. They lit the candles while i was still completely stunned. Stanley joined us. They sang Happi bdae to me... and i was STILL stunned. I made a wish, and blew out the candle, still shocked. Huh? I mean, how stupid can i get? We used the same thing on Eunice and Arthur lor. Except that was a completely unsuccessful, super unnatural and extremely easy to 识破 version la. But still!!! I was so tired these days i din even think abt it, the thought din even enter my mind. I din even think why kee Liang kept asking day in day out if i can come for the meeting. I din think why Cai Lin HAD to come for the meeting. Andy walked past and we invited him over... He said that is like the most basic way of giving a B.O.D member a suprise. hahah... 我真够笨了。Ge Yeong rushed over last min to give me a big hug. Haha. I was still stunned all the while. Then we cut the cake and everyone ate some and i got jaime and HuiMin to come down eat a bit cuz cannot finish. The B.O.D gave me a very nice small "LittleMatchGirl" bag and a white and blue-green billabong wallet. Hahahaha... and the funny part was, Kee Liang was the one that bought it on saturday. Kee Liang, the biggest mugger of the B.O.D actually deferred from studying for an afternoon and went to shop for me prezzie. WOW. And he and Cai Lin got not bad taste, the gifts were REALLY very nice. And i needed a new wallet. I din tell them, Kee Liang said he observed that my wallet very old le. hahaha... And i got a hug from Jing Fen. A handshake from Marcus. haha. I was pretty touched. cuz. Kee Liang and Cai Lin went out one week b4 promos to buy my prezzie. Yen mei skipped sch today, specially came back 2 celebrate my bdae. B.O.D members ran off from Civics to come and wish me happi bdae. They remembered. I got my suprise. Thanks. I love the bag. I love the wallet. I love u all. =) sighz. but there are other things going wrong now. My frenz need to study, cant go out. this and that. nvm... Joyce at 8:57 PM
